I tried to like these - I’ve been gagging them down for almost a month - they have the worst smell and taste to them. I have to immediately eat something to get the taste out of my mouth and wash my hands with soap to get the smell off - not great while pregnant! The pills were also all stuck together when they arrived.

Most of my others have had more EPA than DHA, and I wanted a higher DHA for more balanced intake. The serving size for these gel capsules is 2 gel caps for 1 serving, which is 800 mg DHA, or 400 mg DHA per gel cap. I take one of these gel caps daily, which is half a serving, in combination with my other supplements, and this works very well for me. This is a vegan product, made from algae, no fish oil, it is not fishy in taste or smell. The cap itself is made from carrageenan, no animal gelatin products are used. I take this in the morning with my other supplements on an empty stomach or with morning coffee, I haven’t had any gastrointestinal side effects. The gel caps are a bit on the large side, but not difficult to swallow. These will last me up to 90 days; 2 gel caps a day would last 45 days. Given this, these are economically priced for the amount in the bottle.

Being that this is a vegan omega 3 from algae this will Be Very low or no Mercury in this . A much better alternative then fish. Omega 3 is important for your heart, brain, joints etc. after my husbands heart surgery his cardio Dr said take magnesium, D3, and Omega 3. After reading what I could about it, I thought Vegan was the least Contaminated , and my husband has recovered well after 2 years. This is his 3rd by pass. We totally eat different and more vegan and vegetarian. It pays off, and since Covid he is not going to LA and not traveling and eating poorly.

These are effectively "fish oil" supplements that will help with brain, heart and skin health, and for that reason, they're among the most important supplements that I take daily.
